Meet Dr. Kyle S. Low

Dr

Kyle S. Low, DDS

Dear families of Temple City Dental Care,

It is with great honor that I have been chosen by Dr Jack von Bulow to carry on the legacy of Temple City Dental Care. I have known Dr Von Bulow for three years as at first a mentor and now a friend.

I first met Jack in 2019 at an Invisalign CE Course in San Jose, CA. At that time, this course was the pinnacle of advanced Invisalign education for general dentists as prospective attendees must be nominated by peers and were hand chosen by the director of the course. So, there I was in San Jose, wide-eyed, excited, and nervous to take on the next three days of intense training. My seat mate for the weekend? None other than Dr Von Bulow himself. He was a chapter president and had chosen me to add to his group. Jack was great. His energy and enthusiasm were contagious as I am sure you all have come to endear in him. After the course, we would stay in contact via our WhatsApp chat rooms which proved to be vital during the dark times of 2020.

I found dentistry in an unconventional route. I was not fulfilled in my first career choice in the import/export industry and wanted to pursue something in health care. I was first attracted to the hands-on, problem-solving aspect and the freedom to mold a practice to one’s own vision that dentistry allowed. So, four months after proposing to my wife, Lena, I quit my job and enrolled in Chapman University’s Post-Baccelaureate program. I spent two years there completing all the core sciences that I did not take while at UCLA undergrad, but necessary to apply to dental school. Upon completion, I enrolled at UCLA School of Dentistry and received my DDS degree in 2017. I also completed a one-year residency in advanced treatment procedures at UCLA Venice Dental Center. It was during my residency where I was introduced to Invisalign, eventually leading down a path to meet Jack.

Flash forward now to present day, I am once again humbled to have been chosen by Dr Von Bulow. Jack built Temple City Dental Care with the mission “Making a world class difference for others and making dentistry fun.” I bring with me the experience I have gained while serving the San Gabriel Valley in South Pasadena since 2018, three children ages 7, 4, and 7 months, and the greatest partner in life for the past 11 years in Lena. Having gotten to know Jack over the past three years, I believe his vision for dentistry, his passion for his community, and enthusiasm for service align with my commitment to provide excellent care for my community with empathy and integrity, building relationships built on trust and respect.

It is my honor to offer my services to the Temple City Dental Care community. I greatly look forward to meeting all of you.
